Hey y’all! Thanks for being you, and here on the podcast. You are both enough, where you are spiritually, and accepted. I am so grateful to talk through verse 105!Our well light paths will not give us the 10-steps ahead that our comfort would prefer. However, we progress forward by navigating through faith and using our “trust-odometer” in God. God promises to be our trusted guide. When we submit to His ways, walking in His ways as this Daily Grace Company journal is entitled, we align our lives with His direction. Our lives have purpose, substantial meaning, and peace to trust the days ahead. We redefine or lives based on His foundation for ourselves. Thanks for listening! 💜

Oh wisdom…where art thee?I want to tell the Brittany from 20 and 25 years ago to fill my life devouring God’s word MORE than my focus on education. I want to cheer her on to follow the detailed instructions and precepts of God in order to truly have the #win that my spirit is crying out for. 1 Corinthians 1:27, Paul says that God chooses the foolish things to the world or the weak people, by the worlds standard, in order to reverse the system that the culture preaches to follow. In addition, it humbles us to be constantly reliant on God with both humble expectancy and devoted obedience. Thanks for listening!💜

Day 12 is up late, yet recorded very early. Why? The life as an ICU nurse is unpredictable and it is forever changing at the bedside. The patient is fragile, and therefore nothing is constant and certain. How wonderful to have this day, almost 15 hours at the hospital, while discussing the steadiness of God. It is so fitting to discuss this next stanza block, because in the uncertainty of our circumstances, we can trust and should rely on a Sovereign God.Thanks for listening.💜

I’m so glad that you are here friends.💜Is there anyone that you are involved with or circumstance that you are dealing with that is attempt to take over your ability to get through? How well are you navigating through the curvatures in the road? Are you growing weary in the responsibilities and all that you manage? Whether your end of the rope is at a high place that is overwhelming you, or it is at a low place that involves despair and spiritual fatigue, God is God in both. God is our ability and our life when we have none.God is your boat for the waters and He is your anchoring for the storms on the water. God is your ability! Thanks for listening!

In a culture that screams from the top of every mountain and platform that you don’t have to answer to anyone, it is hard to remember how much deceit is wrapping that assertion.God is the Creator.God is almighty and all-powerful.God is all knowing and everywhere. Who can know a sliver of His wisdom and handle it? Or even better, who can manage that? No one! We do ourselves a great thing when we live with a lens of humility. Adopting this framework to live by is doing yourself a favor and living within His favor. Don’t you want to stay connected to the Source? Yes or yes?💜

Thanks friends for listening 💜 I am so grateful that you are on this Psalm 119 journey. If this is your first time to the podcast, or if you are newer, WELCOME! In this 9th stanza block, we are challenged to reframe our viewpoint of pain and suffering. The things that the enemy means to destroy you and drive you away from your purpose driven journey, God takes every part of that plan and He straightens our path. God is in the business of healing and freeing us from both ourselves and the damaging constructs within our lives. We are made new in Christ, and only through His healing hand. In the middle, even if joy and peace are possible in Christ and through His power. On the other side of it, His redemption is available. I am grateful that even in spite of the bumps or massive potholes in our journey, that God’s comfort and healing are available.💜

I’m so glad you’re here friends💜What’s your cup filler? I enjoy spending time with my kids, date night with my hubby, a nap, Downton Abby, coffee, or the ability to read a book. All these are wonderful and rewarding, but what is the liner within the cup to keep me full?Verse 57 says that “the Lord is my portion…”. I think of having a coffee cup with a hole at the bottom, and although I love what I’m drinking, it won’t stay in the cup! Then I get a liner for the cup, and this allows me to enjoy the hot brew al the more! God is our liner that insulates our heart and keeps us full even in the chaos of the day. Is He your fulfillment? Is He enough? Thanks for listening!

What’s your favorite “pick me up” song? What’s that go to “thing” that you do when you need to be filled in dry times?I am grateful to read in today’s stanza in Psalm 119:50 that even in the absence of that, God is our comfort and His theme song is our banner of hope all the time! Thanks for listening and joining for Day 7! 💜

Thanks for being here friends! The pulse of this psalmist is clear and undivided! Y’all, it is so inspiring verse by verse to read the connection between the psalmist and God. This was not by mistake that this relationship is so solid. There is intention and devotion in the consistent rhythm of how often God is pressed into, because the yearning need of God is so evident in the text.Today, obedience is being addressed! How well are you obeying the voice of God? You’ve got to first hear to obey, which means you need to have spent the unhurried and intentional time with God. No more than you will accidentally lose 30 lbs, will you unintentionally have a foundation in Christ. So, let’s be committed this 2022 year ahead to focus on hearing and obeying.Yes or yes? Thanks for listening! 💜💜
